This report leads me to conclude there is an abundance of riches in the Cubs` pipeline. Jon Lester is scheduled to start Friday`s game at Wrigley Field. In early June, the Cubs will be traveling to Philadelphia to confront the same team. We plan to see the contest Monday June 6th as paying customers. Since there are no off-days between Friday and June 6, by my calculations that means my man, Jon Lester, should start that game June 6th. (smiling) Someone please correct me, if I`m mistaken.
