I see no one wants to comment on this clunker. It’s just one game. Let’s move on.

It wasn’t a clunker, it was a well pitched game, and what teams should expect to see in October

Aloha Bruce- it was a tough game. As Carrie said, it was a well-pitched game but I felt that the Cubs’ hitters were not patient at the plate. 15ko’s last night and already 10ko’s for Cubs’ hitters tonight. Kyle Hendricks is pitching much better than his record illustrates but has to be one of the National League’s least supported pitchers run-wise. Currently, Hendricks is the 30th best pitcher in all of baseball ERA-wise and only 4 pitchers out of the top 40 in both leagues have a worst “RS” (run-support) than Hendricks. I hope the offense can be more patient overall as well as to support Kyle more. Good news tonight is that so far no errors and have to give Strop credit when Lackey fell apart in the 7th and left with no outs and runners on 3rd/2nd the Nats only scored 1 run. I am sure Maddon will be chatting with the team about their approach at the plate and all the strikeouts in the first two games. Let’s hope they can pick up this game! Mahalo!

Got punched in the mouth. It happens. Don’t let them win series.
