#Cubs Minor League report

Tuesday’s games

Eloy Jimenez went 1-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in the Midwest League All-Star Game. He hit a game-tying three-run homer in the ninth, and was named MVP of the game. Donnie Dewees went 2-for-4 with one RBI and scored three runs.

Iowa’s game vs. Nashville was postponed because of rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday.

Eugene totaled three hits in a 4-1 loss to Hillsboro. Jesus Castillo gave up two runs over five innings.

Mesa had Tuesday off and returns to action Wednesday against the D-Backs.

We expect the Cubs to make a forceful statement today. It`s payback time for the past two days. “We will not be swept in our own building,” should be the message.

I expect it everyday, today is no different than the last two. Arietta with over 80 pitches through 4 innings. Cubs not hitting or making the Pitcher throw pitches. They look terrible!
No fun at all, no need to watch anymore of this crap.
