Friday’s games

Rob Zastryzny struck out seven and gave up three runs over six innings in Iowa’s 3-0 loss to Round Rock. Tommy La Stella went 0-for-4 in his fourth rehab game.

Paul Blackburn gave up two runs over five innings in Tennessee’s 5-3 win over Jacksonville. Jacob Hannemann and Gioskar Amaya each had a double and one RBI. Blackburn has given up three or fewer earned runs in 10 of his 15 starts.

Erick Leal gave up four hits over five scoreless innings in Myrtle Beach’s 8-1 win over Potomac. Leal struck out seven to improve to 10-3, and is the first 10-game winner in the Cubs’ Minor League system this year. Jeffrey Baez hit a solo home run. Gleyber Torres had two hits and one RBI and Ian Rice had two RBI.

Eloy Jimenez drove in his 56th run in South Bend’s 3-2 loss to Lansing. Jimenez, who will play in the All-Star Futures Game, is batting .337. Casey Bloomquist took the loss, giving up three runs over five innings.

Eugene beat Salem-Keizer, 7-4. Robert Garcia and D.J. Wilson each hit home runs, the first for both this season. Wilson’s was a two-run shot in the fourth. Matt Rose had two hits, scored two runs and stole a base. Jose Paulino struck out eight and gave up one run over six innings for the win.

Mesa had Friday off and will play the Athletics at Sloan Park in Mesa on Saturday.
