#Cubs Minor League report
Tim Federowicz had three hits and one RBI in Iowa’s 15-5 loss to Colorado Springs. Pierce Johnson gave up five runs over 2 2/3 innings. Cael Brockmeyer drove in two runs.
Tennessee lost both games of a doubleheader. Daniel Lockhart hit a solo home run in the first game and finished with three RBI. Paul Blackburn gave up five earned runs over three innings. Clayton Richard started the second game and gave up one run on three hits while striking out four over 4 2/3 innings. Chesny Young went 2-for-4 in both games.
Erick Leal gave up one run over six innings and lost in Myrtle Beach’s 1-0 loss to Wilmington. Leal struck out six. Charcer Burks hit a double.
South Bend lost, 5-3, to Bowling Green in 10 innings. Kyle Miller gave up three runs over six innings, and is 4-0 with a 1.80 ERA since joining the rotation. Dexter Fowler went 0-for-2 and drew two walks in his first rehab appearance. Carlos Supulveda had three hits and three RBI.
Eugene swept both games of a doubleheader against Everett. Jose Paulino gave up one hit over six scoreless innings in the first game and Manuel Rondon gave up four hits over five scoreless innings in the second. Matt Rose was 4-for-7 with two homers and four RBI in the two games.
Mesa beat the A’s, 6-3. Pablo Ochoa gave up two runs over 3 2/3 innings. Luis Ayala had two hits.
