#Cubs Minor League report

Clayton Richard gave up two runs over three innings in Tennessee’s 4-0 loss Tuesday to Chattanooga. It was Richard’s fourth rehab start. The lefty threw 43 pitches, 28 for strikes. So far, he’s given up three earned runs over 12 2/3 innings between Double-A and Triple-A. Brian Matusz followed Richard and struck out six over 3 1/3 innings in his Double-A debut. Kelly Dugan and Chesny Young each had two hits.

*The other Cubs affiliates had Tuesday off.

Iowa is off until Thursday for the All-Star break. Dan Vogelbach and Armando Rivero will represent the Cubs at the Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday in Charlotte, NC.

Myrtle Beach had Tuesday off and will play host to Frederick Wednesday.

South Bend had Tuesday off and will play at Clinton on Wednesday. Preston Morrison gets the start.

Eugene had the day off and will play at Tri-City on Wednesday

Mesa had the day off and returns to action Wednesday at the White Sox in Glendale, AZ.
