Friday’s games

Drew Rucinski gave up seven runs over six innings in Iowa’s 7-5 loss to New Orleans. Jeimer Candelario had two hits, including a two-run homer. He finished with three RBI. Albert Almora also had two hits.

Tennessee rallied for a 7-6, 11-inning win over Chattanooga. Bijan Rademacher had four hits, including a double and a two-run homer. Jorge Soler went 0-for-4 with a walk in his seventh rehab game.

Preston Morrison gave up five hits over six scoreless innings in Myrtle Beach’s 3-1 loss to Salem. Morrison struck out six. He is 5-1 and has given up one earned run over 45 2/3 innings in his last eight starts. Bryant Flete and Yasiel Balaguert each had two hits.

Kyle Miller gave up five runs over 5 2/3 innings in South Bend’s 11-7 win over Lake County. Eloy Jimenez was a triple shy of the cycle, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a grand slam and a single. He drove in four runs and scored four times. Alberto Mineo had three  hits.

Yeiler Peguero and Trent Giambrone each  had three hits in Eugene’s 8-7, 10-inning loss. Dylan Cease started and walked four in one-third of an inning.

Mesa’s game was suspended because of rain.
