The Cubs have swept three Interleague series so far (at Angels, vs White Sox, at A’s). They are 16-7 in their last 23 Interleague games dating to July 12, 2015, including an 11-4 record this season.

Here are the pitching  matchups for the series:

Tuesday: RHP John Lackey (8-7, 3.70) vs. RHP Jered Weaver (8-8, 5.11)
Wednesday: RHP Jason Hammel (11-5, 3.07) vs. RHP Ricky Nolasco (4-8, 5.23)

Aloha Folks, neat lineup. I hope Soler is able to run well in LF and on the bases today. Love the infield, should give Lackey some peace. Also Carrie, I thought the Cubs/WhiteSox split their series 2games apiece? Go Cubs! Mahalo!

The White Sox series is technically counted as two different series, as they were played at two different ballparks. Also of note, today is NBA Hall of Famer Bob Cousy’s 88th birthday. So let’s all wish him a happy birthday by singing his favorite song, “Born to be Wild” by Steppenwolf.

Aloha Burt, thank you makes sense how they look at that “cross-town” series. Happy Birthday to Cousy! Mahalo!

Glad to see Contreras behind the plate. It’s time for him to really make the position position his own.

Howdy! All around good game. It was nice to see Lackey pitch well on the same day he got good run support. Let’s finish off the Angels, then go for the Cards’ jugular, and put this division away.
