How about Arrieta tonight? He looked very much like the Jake of the second half of 2015. Papelbon is still looking for a place to land, and I`ve heard the Red Sox are no longer interested. Let`s hope the Cubs continue to resist, as well.

Aloha jhosk, Arrieta had good command tonight. I hope Pena will bounce back, he is young and still learning. Chapman has to stop walking folks too. But how about Addison! Making plays on the field and clutch at bats! He could very well end the season with 25hrs and 100+ rbi’s and all coming from the shortstop position! I like you also hope a certain reliever on the market is not signed, stay with what they have and prepare for Rondon and Strop’s return. Another big game today leading into a huge series against them Dodgers. Take care now. Mahalo!

I absolutely agree re: Addison, k.g. I`ve heard it said he could receive some MVP votes. I was reminded recently of something about Bryant which I may have cited in the past, but you`ll forgive me for repeating. When Kris was a junior at the U.of San Diego, he clouted 31 homers. That was more long balls than 226 or so other Division 1 teams accumulated that year. That`s a stunning stat. Have you noticed that your boy, Hendricks, is atop the NL in ERA? Kershaw is no longer part of the list. Apparently he has not thrown enough innings to qualify. I`ve heard it said Clayton does plan to return next month; so stay tuned.
