Carrie or anyone,
Any word on Thomas Hatch, Cubs 3rd Round Draft Pick this year? I know he signed but have not seen him in action anywhere.

This question was asked and answered recently, if memory serves. As I recall, we were told that, given Thomas had pitched beaucoup innings in his 2016 season at Oklahoma State and, given he pitched deep into the NCAA tournament, the Cubs wisely decided not to extend him any further. They, in effect, shut him down for the remainder of the season. If I`m mistaken about this, someone will correct me.
