Aloha Folks, what a courageous outting by Hendricks: pushing his start date, on the road against a better playing Pirates team as of late, working out of some tough innings. Nice to see Heyward start things off with his sacrifice for the first run and later Almora & Baez adding on. I know I have been tough on Strop but have to give him credit especially after his knee injury and to come back strong. I sure hope Rondon can get it together, want him to be successful too. Go Cubs! Mahalo!

Yes, k.g. KB observed that it`s remarkable the way Hendricks consistently induces weak contact, and commented that Kyle is smart. Missed some of the game due to the debate, and I think it`s worth mentioning that Trump commented he is “smart” because his past tax records demonstrate he avoided paying any federal income taxes those years. Fans will be better served emulating the “smart” attributed to Kyle Hendricks rather than the “smart” the con man and demagogue Donald Trump embraces. {Am wanting the Giants, Mets, and Cardinals finishing in a three-way tie for the Wild Card.}
