Saturday’s games
Kyle Schwarber hit two home runs for the second straight day to help Iowa sweep a makeshift doubleheader against Round Rock. The two teams completed a suspended game before playing a seven-inning game. Schwarber finished with three RBI in the second game and now has four home runs in his last three games. Chris Dominguez was a combined 6-for-9 in the two games. Stephen Bruno had four hits, including a pair of home runs in the first game. Jacob Hannemann had three hits.

Tennessee’s game vs. Jackson was postponed because of rain. The two will play a doubleheader on Sunday. Trevor Clifton and Jen-Ho Tseng are scheduled to start.

Myrtle Beach beat Down East, 4–1. Justin Steele gave up one run over six innings, striking out five. Matt Rose hit a two-run homer and Eloy Jimenez hit a two-run single.

South Bend beat Lansing, 5–4. Vimael Machin had two hits, including a two-run homer, and Luis Ayala had three hits, including two doubles.

Eugene beat Vancouver, 5–2. Matt Swarmer gave up one run over five innings, striking out four. Zach Davis had three hits and Gustavo Polanco had two hits and two RBI.

Mesa lost, 6–0, to the Angels. Afredo Colorado gave up four runs over 4 2/3 innings, striking out five.
