Tuesday’s games
Iowa lost, 5–3, to New Orleans. Seth Frankoff started and did not get a decision, giving up one run on one hit and one walk over five innings. He struck out six. Chris Dominguez had three hits and an RBI in his first game.

Tennessee had Tuesday off, and plays host to Jacksonville on Wednesday. Trevor Clifton was scheduled to start.

Myrtle Beach lost both games of a doubleheader against Frederick. Ryan Kellogg took the loss in the first game, giving up two runs over six innings. Adonis Paula homered in each game, and finished with three hits. Robert Garcia hit a solo homer in the second game. Eddy Martinez extended his hitting streak to eight games with a hit in each game.

South Bend rallied for four runs in the ninth to beat Kane County, 7–6. D.J. Wilson hit a solo home run and finished with three RBI. Yeiler Peguero hit a triple and drove in two runs.
