Thursday’s games
Casey Kelly gave up two runs over 6 1/3 innings in Iowa’s 5–2 win over New Orleans. Kyle Schwarber went 1-for-3 and scored a run. He’s 5-for-15 with Iowa. Bijan Rademacher had two hits and three RBI, and Chris Dominguez had three hits, including a home run.

Ben Zobrist went 2-for-3 with a walk and scored a run in a rehab start with Double-A Tennessee, which beat Jackson, 9–4. Preston Morrison gave up four runs over six innings, striking out five. Jason Vosler hit a grand slam in the eighth. Yasiel Balaguert hit a three-run homer in the first.

Myrtle Beach lost, 5–1, to Potomac. Ryan Kellogg gave up three earned runs over five innings. Bryant Flete had two hits and Eloy Jimenez hit an RBI double. Jimenez will play in the All-Star Futures Game for the second year.

South Bend lost, 7–4, to Fort Wayne. Bryan Hudson gave up five runs over 4 2/3 innings. Vimael Machin had three hits, including a home run, and finished with two RBI.

Eugene lost, 2–1, in 12 innings to Vancouver. Bailey Clark gave up four hits over 4 1/3 scoreless innings.

Carson Sands gave up one run on three hits and three walks over three innings in Mesa’s 13–2 loss to the Dodgers. Delvin Zinn had two hits, including a double.
