Tuesday’s games
Iowa beat Memphis, 3–1, as Jake Buchanan gave up one run over eight innings. Victor Caratini had four hits and drove in two runs. Buchanan struck out five and walked two.

Tennessee beat Jackson, 8–0. Trevor Clifton threw six shutout innings, giving up four hits and striking out seven. It was his first quality start. He has given up one earned run in his last two outings. David Bote had two hits and two RBI. Jeffrey Baez had three hits, including a solo homer, and Yasiel Balaguert hit his first home run of the year, a two-run blast.

Myrtle Beach vs. Winston Salem was postponed because of rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Wednesday. Adbert Alzolay and Casey Bloomquist are scheduled to start.

Duncan Robinson gave up three hits over seven scoreless innings in South Bend’s 9–0 win over Burlington. Alberto Mineo had three hits and two RBI. Zack Short and Brandon Cummins each had two hits.
