Monday’s games
Ian Happ had two hits, including a three-run homer, in Iowa’s 15–9 loss to Memphis. Victor Caratini had four hits, including a home run, and three RBI. Chesny Young had three hits, and was batting .438 in May. Jeimer Candelario had three hits, including a triple.

Jen-Ho Tseng struck out seven and gave up two runs over six innings in Tennessee’s 8–2 win over Jackson. It was his third quality start. David Bote had two hits, including a home run, and two RBI. Jason Vosler had three hits.

Myrtle Beach had Monday off, and opens a series against Winston-Salem Tuesday. Adbert Alzolay gets the start.

South Bend scored three runs in the sixth to beat Burlington, 7–5. Tyson Miller got the win, giving up four earned runs over 5 2/3innings. Zack Short had two hits, including a triple, and two RBI.
