Saturday’s games
Iowa beat Nashville, 4–0. Matt Swarmer gave up five hits over seven scoreless innings, striking out eight in his Triple-A debut. Mike Freeman had two hits and two RBI.

Zach Hedges gave up one run over seven innings in Tennessee’s 6–4 win over Chattanooga. Andrew Ely went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and two RBI. Charcer Burks and Daniel Spingola each had three hits.

Myrtle Beach swept a doubleheader at Wilmington. Kyle Miller threw four scoreless innings in the first game, and Thomas Hatch gave up one earned run over five innings in the nightcap. Tyler Alamo was a combined 4-for-7 with three homers, a double, and five RBI. Tyler Pearson had two hits, including a solo homer, in the first game.

South Bend beat Lansing, 5–3. Jose Paulino gave up one unearned run over six innings. Andruw Monasterio had two hits, including a triple, and two RBI.

Alex Lange gave up two runs over 2 2/3 innings in Eugene’s 6–5 loss to Boise. He struck out five. Rafael Narea had three hits and one RBI.

Mesa swept a doubleheader against the Indians. Brailyn Marquez gave up one run over six innings. Cam Balego had two hits, including his first home run, in the second game.
